Why subscribe?

Cutting-edge science feels like a foreign language to most, but shouldn’t. Many of the most important topics in science are free to the public, but are difficult to find and understand. My hope is that with a little guidance, important discoveries in Earth Science can be widely available to all; not just academics at universities.

I am currently a researcher and engineer at Southern Methodist University where I maintain arrays designed to measure waves traveling across the globe, both through the Earth and through the atmosphere.

I’m obsessed with all things Earth Science, and am excited to share my learning experience with all of you.

My goal with this newsletter is to summarize the key points and takeaways in some of the newest research articles in geology, geophysics, and atmospheric sciences. I will also walk you through some of the fundamentals of Earth dynamics and their importance.

Our planet is amazing, and I hope to share with you my journey of learning more about it!
